Since 1978, ARSAG has provided a forum where military and industry representatives from more than twenty nations address innovation, interoperability, lessons learned, operational needs and future requirements.

ARSAG brings together the US military services, NATO, allied nations and industry partners to improve joint operational safety and strengthen aerial refueling system reliability.

Joint standardization role

Designated by the US Department of Defense.

The Department of Defense designates ARSAG as the Joint Standardization Board for Aerial Refueling Systems, with the objective of achieving common, mutually satisfactory solutions to shared requirements and needs.

How ARSAG works

Engineers, aircrews, maintainers, operational commands, government organizations, international bodies and manufacturers meet throughout the year to improve equipment, processes and guidance.

Under the guidance of an international Board of Directors, ARSAG remains a focused, practical forum for system and operational improvement.
